BracketFinder™ is powered by MountBase - the database of wall-mountable flat screens like Plasma and LCD TVs. Although picking a suitable TV wall mount is not rocket-science, the brackets’ name
and description are often confusing enough to make the wrong choice. For example a bracket
named "Tilt 20"-36" TV Wall Mount Bracket" (bear in mind that 80% brackets have similar
names), so you think it is suitable for Philips 32PF9731D 32” LCD TV. But you are wrong
because this Philips 32” TV actually need a much wider bracket. To make things even worse,
most people only realise their mistake after they made a mess. In addition to the wasted
time and a broken wall, they would have to wait a few days to get the right wall mount
to be delivered.
MountBase contains key information for the majority of flat screen TVs
so you can easily and accurately find a suitable wall mount bracket.
Currently the database contains more than 1000 Plasma & LCD TV models
including 90 Sony TVs, 106 Samsung TVs, 98 LG TVs, 99 Sharp TVs, 77 Philips
TVs, 70 Toshiba TVs, 40 Panasonic TVs, 35 Pioneer TVs … and new LCD/plasma
TV models are added daily to the database thanks to contributions from the
TV manufacturers, bracket suppliers, professional TV installers, and genuine
home DIYist. If your plasma/lcd tv is so new or so rare that it is not yet
included in our database, you will be presented a simple form to submit the
TV details, then we will then pick suitable brackets of different
styles & costs from our pool of more than 20 suppliers all over UK.
While we helped you to find suitable brackets, the details you submitted
will help future customers to find wall-mount bracket more quickly.
Once the details have been confirmed by professionals or a few other
fellow DIYist, they become permanent parts of MountBase.
